Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Welcome to Uganda! Upon arrival at the Entebbe International Airport, you will be picked up by our friendly Dial-Us Tours and Travel team, who will drive you to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Kampala.
Drive through Entebbe to Kampala, Chaotic, crazy, beautiful, mysterious and pulsating Kampala. The drive will be interesting, the experience is simply fantastic! Stay alert at all times -there’s always something to see out of the corner of your eye.
Day 2: Kampala to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After your breakfast you will be briefed about your journey by our guide before setting off. Driving via Masaka Road for about 6-7hrs through the famous Lwera and Katonga swamp having a stopover in Masaka town. Continue your journey via Mbarara, the home of Long Horned cattle and beautiful scenic views of the countryside arriving at Queen Elizabeth National Park in afternoon.
Depending on the time of arrival, you may head for an afternoon game drive viewing animals like Buffaloes, Giant elephants, Uganda Kobs and if lucky, you will see the lions waiting for prey. Check in at Buffalo Safari Lodge (Mid-range) / Simba safari Camp (Budget).
Day 3: Game Drives & Kazinga Channel Boat Safari
Wake up early enough for an early game drive in Kasenyi Plains, the prime area for spotting lions, leopards, hyenas, and large herds of antelope, giant elephants, warthogs among others. Head back to the lodge for your breakfast and after head for a crater walk/drive good for photography, getting chance to visit Nyamunuka smelling Crater Lake which elephants use to treat wounds. Visit also the Katwe Salt Crater Lake and learn more about the salt mining in that lake.
Around Midday, return to lodge for relaxation as you wait for lunch.
After lunch, head straight for the famous Boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel (Channel between L. Edward and L. George), famous for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and abundant birdlife like the Egyptian Goose among others. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the Channel good for photography and the local communities’ activities surrounding the Kazinga Channel. Diner and overnight at Buffalo Safari Lodge / Simba Safari Camp the lodge on full board.
Day 4: Return to Entebbe
After your breakfast in the morning, drive back to Kampala via the Ishasha sector, the home of the Tree climbing lions. Have a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and then at the Equator for photos and water experiment. Then head straight to Kampala for diner and Overnight or for your flight depending on the time of arrival in Kampala.
