Day 1: Airport pick up and transfer to the Hotel
Arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport (JRO) where you will be picked up from Kilimanjaro Airport by Dial-Us Tours and Travel Guide and drive to your Accommodation in Moshi town. Diner and overnight at Maridadi hotel on half board (Diner and breakfast)

Day 2: Machame Gate (1790m) to Machame Camp (3010m)
One hour’s drive from Arusha lies the gate to the Machame route, where we complete park formalities, meet our crew of porters and start to climb! The first section of the route climbs steadily and passes through magnificent, dense rainforest. This path is less well-trodden so it can get somehow overgrown in places and it is often wet and muddy underfoot. Diner and overnight at Machame Camp on full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 3: Machame Camp (3010m) to Shira Camp (3845m)
After breakfast, our route continues on up through the forest until we reach the steep ascent onto the Shira Plateau, where there are rewarding views of the mountain. Looking back, you will be able to see Mt Meru rising high above Arusha town in the distance. Diner and overnight at Shira Camp on full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 4: Shira Camp – Lava Tower Hut (4640m) – Barranco Camp (3950m)
With this safari day, you will ascend almost 700m but descend again after reaching the imposing Lava Tower (4640m). This will help with acclimatisation as you will reach a height of over 4 500m. We will move through different vegetation zones, after reaching Lava Tower the path traverses Barranco Valley dotted with the weird-looking senecios. Barranco Camp is reached after 6 – 7 hours. Considered the most beautiful camp on the mountain, the camp is situated just below the imposing Barranco Wall. Rest and refuel tonight. Diner and overnight at Barranco Camp on full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner).

Day 5: Barranco Camp (3960m) – Barafu Camp (4640m)
The first section of today’s route is to scale the ‘Barranco Wall’. Use your hands and feet. Safety is paramount and you will be secured if necessary, but it looks more than it actually is. The trail continues with many up and down sections, crossing a few streams, winding and climbing stopping for lunch in the Karanga Valley. After lunch, there will be another 2 – 3 hours climb before you reach Barafu Camp (4640m). Diner and overnight at Barafu Camp on full board.

Day 6: Barafu Camp – Uhuru Peak (5895m) – Mweka Camp (3080m)
You will be woken in the midnight hours with a cup of tea and a biscuit. Dressed warmly
and geared with a headlight and your daypack you will set off in the darkness. After 5 – 7 hours of ‘pole pole’, you will reach the rim of the crater, Stella Point. Another one to two hours of going slowly along the crater’s edge and you will arrive at the summit – Uhuru Peak (5895m). Looking down over the surrounding landscape below in the early morning light will make you feel on top of the world. You have now reached the ‘Roof of Africa’. The descent should be easy but dusty, as the volcanic ash will now have defrosted. Returning on the same route you should arrive at Barafu Camp within a few hours where the porters are waiting with food and tea. Resting for an hour or two, you will continue down to reach Mweka Camp (3080m) for your overnight stay. Diner and overnight Mweka Camp on Full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 7: Trek Mweka Camp (3100m) to Mweka Gate (1630m)
A gentle trek takes us down through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where we complete park formalities and receive certificates, which you can hang up with pride! We are then met by our vehicles and return to the hotel in Arusha, where you can treat yourself to a welcome shower then celebrate with cold drinks. Overnight at your arranged Hotel in Moshi. Diner and overnight Chanya Lodge on Full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 8: Moshi to Tarangire Park Full Game Drive
You’ll depart from Moshi after breakfast for the approximately 3 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way you’ll pass bustling Maasai villages and the vast, open plains that have become synonymous with images of Afrika. Tarangire national park where you could have a chance to see the groups of Elephants, Giraffe, Lions and many more. Diner and overnight Farm of Dreams Lodge on Full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Full Day Game Drive
Early morning breakfast and depart for Ngorongoro Crater with picnic lunch, Ngorongoro is located between the Serengeti and Manyara National Park, and it is home to famous volcanic crater that is the largest unbroken caldera in the World. There are 25,000larger animals within the Crater itself, mostly Zebra and Wildebeests. However, this is undoubtedly the best place to see Black rhinoceros in Tanzania as well as pride of lion that include black manned males. There are lots of colourful flamingos and variety of other water birds been found in the Ngorongoro Crater. Late afternoon drive to the Central Serengeti National Park. Diner and overnight Farm of Dreams Lodge on Full board (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

Day 10: Lake Manyara Full Game Drive then back to Arusha
After breakfast, depart for Lake Manyara with a picnic lunch; game viewing at the park. Lake Manyara is one of the most diverse of Tanzania’s National Parks, a tiny (325km2) combination of Rift Valley, groundwater forest, Lake and dense woodland. Apart from the spectacular and diverse birdlife of over 400 species, the park is also home to hippos, elephants, baboons, wildebeest and the peculiar tree-climbing lions. After an extensive game drive through the park, you will leave the cascades of flamingos.
Day 11: Transfer to Kilimanjaro Airport.
Depart for your flight home.
