Day 1: Day 1 – Arrival
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, a DIAL-US Tours and Travel representative will receive you and transfer you to the hotel in Kampala for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Day 2 – Kampala to Kidepo – Home to Cheetahs
After your morning breakfast, meet our guide at the hotel for a briefing and later set off to the north-eastern side of the country — about a 10–12 hour drive. Take the Kampala–Gulu route and expect a lot en route including beautiful views of homesteads, rivers and upon arrival at Gulu city, settle for a delicious lunch. From Gulu, continue to Kidepo Valley National Park in North-eastern Uganda. Transfer to the lodge at Apoka Rest Camp / Nga'Moru Wilderness Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Day 3 – Explore the Kidepo Valley Game
After your morning breakfast, leave your safari camp for a long day game search through Narus then proceed to Kidepo Valley to explore more of Kidepo's wonders including the Kanangorok hot springs. Today, you will also have a chance to spot ostriches and many other mammal species. Return to the hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Day 4 – Cultural Encounters (IK and Karamojong) and Aruu Falls
After breakfast, you will embark on a guided community walk. First, you will pay a visit to the IK people on Mount Morungole — this involves hiking to the top at about 2,750m, the highest point of Kidepo NP. Find the IK people at the summit and spend good time exploring their traditions and cultures before returning to the lodge. Late in the afternoon, walk to the nearby Karamojong village for yet another thrilling African cultural experience — learn how they have sustained their nomadic way of life, and get entertained by unique dances and music performances. Transfer to Gulu and proceed to Aruu Falls, only 45 mins to 1 hr from Gulu City — situated at the heart of Northern Uganda with stunning scenery and dramatic rock views.

Day 5: Day 5 – Return from Gulu to Kampala
Start your day with a leisurely breakfast and after, you will be picked up by your safari leader. Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe — today marks the end of this special 5-day wildlife safari. End of safari.
