3-Day Bwindi Gorilla Trekking Safari

Depart from Kampala with your DIAL-US Tours and Travel guide. Stopover at the Equator for photography at the world's centre line. Continue through the western Uganda highlands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Arrive and check in at a booked hotel near the park. Accommodation is based on the allocated sector for trekking.

After an early morning breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing from the park guides. Gorilla trekking starts at 8:00 am. Head into the forest for a trek that lasts about 2 to 6 hours or more, depending on where the mountain gorillas have spent their night. After meeting the gorillas, you spend a maximum of 1 hour in their presence. After the encounter, trek back to the start point. Carry some drinking water and snacks to keep you energised. Receive a congratulatory certificate at the park headquarters and then transfer to the hotel or lodge for check-out. Your DIAL-US guide will then drive you to Lake Bunyonyi for an evening boat cruise — adventure the lake's several islands and take photos of the sunset. The boat ride lasts about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Drive to Bunyonyi Safaris Resort and check in for supper and relaxation.

On the last day, have breakfast at Bunyonyi Safaris Resort then return to Entebbe Airport for departure. The drive lasts more than 8 hours and you will have lunch en route. Arrive in Kampala in the evening for drop-off at your hotel or place of residence.
