Day 1: Day 1: Arrival in Kenya at Nairobi Airport pick up

Arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International in Nairobi Airport our guide will welcome you warmly hearted to bgin your 4 Days Taste of Kenya Amboseli and Tsavo East or Tsavo West Safari and drive you to the hotel booked by Mj Safaris in Nairobi town. Our driver or Company representative will hold a Placard or paper written your name waiting outside of the Airport (Exit).

Day 2: Day 2: Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Depart Nairobi or Mombasa to drive to Amboseli National Park. Arrival and check in at the camp. After lunch, go out for an afternoon game drive inside the park.
Note this safari could also start from Diani or Malindi or Watamu. Passing by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands. They can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. During the game drive, you have an opportunity to spot lions, cheetah, antelope, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo and the giraffe with the towering Mt Kilimanjaro as the backdrop.

Day 3: Day 3: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

A sunrise game drive inside Amboseli is the best time for a good view of Mt Kilimanjaro before clouds cover the summit. Depart for Tsavo West and have a game drive en route to arrive in time for lunch. An evening game drive awaits to explore this vast wilderness. From the sight of fifty million gallons of crystal clear water gushing out of from the under parched lava rock that is the Mzima Springs to the Shetani lava flows, Tsavo West is a beautiful, rugged wilderness. The savannah ecosystem comprises of open
Grasslands, scrublands, and Acacia woodlands, belts of riverine vegetation and rocky ridges including the Poacher’s Lookout where visitors can see the teeming herds in the plains below. Tsavo West offers some of the most magnificent game viewing in the world and attractions include elephant, rhino, Hippos, lions, cheetah, leopards, Buffalos, diverse plant and bird species including the threatened corncrake and near threatened Basra Reed Warbler.

Day 4: Day 4: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

Enjoy a sunrise game drive and later depart for Tsavo East. Arrive in time for lunch and relax thereafter to get ready for an evening game drive that lasts until sunset. This park is mostly plains and a good place to see the “red elephants” and large herds of Buffaloes. The sight of dust-red elephant wallowing, rolling and spraying each other with the midnight blue waters of palm-shaded Galana River is one of the most evocative images in Africa. This, along with the 300 kilomtere long Yatta Plateau, the longest lava flow in the world, make for an adventure unlike any other in the Tsavo East. The park forms the largest protected area in Kenya and is home to most of the larger mammals, vast herds of dust –red elephant, Rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, pods of hippo, crocodile, waterbucks, lesser Kudu, gerenuk and the prolific bird life features 500 recorded species. Day 5: Day 5: Tsavo East National Park to Mombasa

After breakfast, take one last game drive at the wilderness before starting your journey head to Mombasa or Diani Beach on the Kenyan coast to enjoy sunshine and other activities on the Beach.
