3-Day Murchison Falls Safari Uganda

After an early breakfast, our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel at 7:00 am and brief you about your 3-day safari. You will start your 6-hour journey to Murchison Falls National Park, going through Luwero with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking — where you will find both black and white rhinos. After tracking, stop in Masindi for lunch. Then proceed to the park and drive towards the top of the falls, spotting warthogs and baboons along the way. Being at the top of the falls is an amazing experience — watch the magnificent falls squeeze through the rocks in an 8m gorge and take as many photos as you can. Later, drive to the lodge, relax, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Wake up early and have breakfast at 6:30 am. Your driver and ranger guide will pick you up for a morning game drive. After the game drive at around 11:40 am, drive back to the lodge, relax/freshen up and have lunch, then prepare for the afternoon boat cruise. On the boat you will see Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the banks of the Nile, as well as beautiful birds including bee-eaters, colourful kingfishers, the shoebill stork and many others. The boat ride will take you to the base of the Murchison Falls. You could opt to hike to the top where your driver guide will take you for an evening game drive on the way back to the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay.

Enjoy your breakfast. Thereafter, proceed for another game drive in the morning on your way back to Kampala — look out for buffaloes, elephants, giraffes, lions, antelopes and several bird species in the grasslands.
