3 Days Lake Mburo National Park

Meet and greet at your accommodation at 6:30 AM and drive off towards western Uganda. As soon as we are out of Kampala, gradually the landscape will keep changing, seeing greener, low rolling hills, open grasslands and small townships this is a scenic journey through the heart of Uganda. On a school day, we will not miss seeing kids walking to school.

We shall have a stopover at the Uganda Equator, where we shall test the carioles forces and a chance to get a to-go coffee and snacks from the Equator restaurant. The famous water experiment which proves more that you are standing in the middle of the earth.

Leaving the shores of Lake Victoria, you pass lively towns, roadside markets, and rolling countryside dotted with farms and long-horned Ankole cattle. Gentle hills, green savannahs, and distant lakes unfold along the way, offering beautiful photo stops.

As you approach the park, the landscape opens into wild plains where zebras and antelopes may appear, signaling the start of your safari adventure.

After breakfast at the lodge, start your day with a refreshing morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, where you explore the savannah on foot with an armed ranger. Experience close encounters with zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and rich birdlife while enjoying the sounds of nature.

In the afternoon, we shall have a lunch break of 30 minutes, to be on time for the 2:00 PM boat cruise. You could call it having lunch in the wild amidst nature, with a spectacular view of the lake. Exactly the needed and required lunch break while you are on vacation.

While on the boat cruise, you shall feast your eyes on crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and magnificent birds colorful bird's such as the kingfishers, hammer kops and their giant nests, fish eagles line the shores offering perfect photo moments and peaceful views, on a lucky day the endangered shoebill.

After breakfast at the lodge, enjoy a final morning game drive in Lake Mburo National Park as the savannah awakens with wildlife. Watch zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, the graceful impalas, Topi and antelopes grazing in the golden light, buffaloes, water-bucks and plenty of birds filling the air with sound, the park is a home to 350 bird species. The park is the smallest of the 10 national parks in Uganda but you will see that it's a gem in a unique way!

Have Lunch, then begin a relaxed drive back to Entebbe, passing rolling hills, Ankole cattle, and vibrant roadside markets. The scenic journey offers time to reflect on three unforgettable days of wildlife, nature, and adventure in Uganda.

After the game drive, we shall have a rest and depending on how you feel, a snack then start our return Journey to Entebbe and drop you off at the airport/accommodation.
